WHO WE ARE

Perform-4A-Purpose (P4AP) is an innovative not-for-profit performing arts organization whose focus is on promoting positive life choices among youth, teens and those who are adversely affected.  P4AP's social theatre approach uses the talents and skills of its actors to break down communication barriers and provide innovative ways to learn and to heal, using the performing arts as its primary tool.

In addition to TEACHING and ENTERTAINING, our mission statement calls on us to use our VOICE to raise issues that impact our youth & teens and those whose voices are limited by their circumstances and to inspire and motivate individuals towards positive reform.

WHAT WE DO

Changing Lives One Life at a time.

Our primary focus is on issues related to youth and teens, including bullying, depression and school violence.  We are compelled to use our voices and our talents to bring focus to these issues and to work diligently to bring about chance.  Our mission has slowly begun to evolve to include those whose lives have been adversely affected by incidences of trauma in their lives.  The tenets of Improv have been proven to provide support and healing to those who have been victims of trauma and abuse.  Coupled with the ability for comedy to break-down communication barriers and to open up minds to learning, our innovative approach to making positive differences in those whose voices are often not heard.

Imagine a world where victims of bullying are the ones taking to stage and teaching the power of the principles of anti-bullying.  The impact of a trauma victim using the performing arts to speak out against their struggles.  The sense of accomplishment when a wounded warrior masters stand-up comedy and brings laughter where before there was pain.

Help us change lives one life at a time.
