In the summer of 2020, Perform-4A-Purpose, in partnership with Positively Funny Improv, will be conducting a Summer Playwright Summer Camp.  This camp is designed to give teens an opportunity to learn the skills needed to write and produce a one-act play taking on an issue of their choice.

The Teen Summer Playwright Camp runs June 15-26 (Monday to Friday only) from 9am to 3pm.  Upon completion of the camp, an excerpt from the student's one-act plays will be produced on stage at the Birmingham Improv Theatre for family, friends and the public.

Not all young playwrights have the financial resources to attend this very unique camp.  Please consider making a donation to Perform-4A-Purpose to help provide scholarship opportunities to these young people.

Visit Positively Funny Improv to register your teen for this exciting new camp.
